A delivery, a project, a full folder. Replace repeated names with an organization that makes sense. Combine rules, see what will change and only then rename. Keep your template for next time.

This demo does not access or rename files on your Mac.
Replace words, add prefixes and suffixes, adjust capitalization, number or include a date. Combine rules in the order you need; the extension is preserved.
Compare the current and new name, with the changed part highlighted. If there is a conflict, the batch stays blocked until you resolve it. Apply only after checking and confirming.
Save the rules as a template. On your next delivery, apply the template and check the new preview. Choosing a template does not rename files on its own.
KlikRename records the steps and offers a review to undo or recover an interrupted batch. That review checks the files again and can block the return if something changed. It is not a guarantee of undo in every situation.
Even when the subscription ends, the license will not block the report or the recovery review of a batch already started.
In this version, files are renamed in the folder where they already are, on compatible local APFS or HFS+ volumes. Folders, iCloud Drive, other CloudStorage providers, network and FAT/exFAT are left out. If Desktop or Documents are in iCloud, their files are left out of the batch too.
Find and replace text, add a prefix or suffix, adjust capitalization and combine sequence and date. The date can come from the file's creation or modification, from a date you choose or from the moment of the preview. It does not read the photo date from EXIF. The extension is preserved.
No. Adjustments generate a preview. Renaming only starts after you check and confirm. A conflict blocks the whole batch; there is no automatic replacement of an existing file.
No. It accepts regular files on local APFS or HFS+ volumes with the features the app requires, renamed in their own folder. iCloud Drive, CloudStorage providers, network volumes, FAT/exFAT and other formats are not supported. Folders, packages, symbolic links, Finder aliases, hidden files, hard links and special files are left out, with the reason shown.
There is a review to go back to the previous names or finish an interrupted batch. The app uses the record of steps and checks the identity of the files; if it cannot confirm or a name is taken, the operation is blocked and there is a report. A batch can be partly applied before an interruption. Undo is not guaranteed and does not replace a backup.
New paid operations stop being available at the end of the paid period. Files already renamed are preserved. The report and the recovery review of a batch already started stay accessible; the license cannot block that path.
Rule processing happens on your Mac. The app keeps templates locally, along with the record of steps needed to review an operation. That record includes file paths; avoid sharing it without removing personal information.
One person can use the license on up to two of their own Macs, for personal and professional use, with no sharing between people. KlikRename is also part of Klikvia Complete, which includes current and future Mac apps while the subscription is active.
